Compressed air is directed through nozzle vanes and impinged upon the blades of a turbine wheel creating rotary motion which drives an impeller wheel. Consists of an impeller wheel, a turbine wheel matched with a nozzle ring on a bearing mounted shaft within a scroll type housing(s).
