6515-01-377-3864 An item which is a component part of a compression dressing system. It includes three basic parts: cuff-to cover the injured thigh area with pressurized ice water; cooler-to hold enough water and ice for 6 to 8 hours of cryotherapy; and tube-to exchange the water between cooler and cuff. It is designed for applying a safe compression to minimize hemarthrosis and swelling, and cold to minimize pain. May be used in the emergency room, post-operative care, the training room, hamstring pulls, quadricep-gastroc confusion, home, and other soft tissues.
